Previously known as The Jacket Online, The Blake Vespula is Blake High School’s official site for on and off campus news, sports and entertainment. The Vespula’s  staff is dedicated to giving a voice to the voiceless, reporting real news, about real people. Our goal is to keep you updated with current and upcoming events going on in school and in the community.

The Blake Vespula is representative of Blake as a whole. Vespula stems from the Latin name of a yellow jacket – Vespula Maculifrons. Being a direct translation to “Blake Yellowjacket”, The Blake Vespula strives to create content directly catered towards the people of Blake High School.
