We all know that when fall comes around that means spooky season is coming up. We associate a bunch of different things with fall such as pumpkins, Halloween, scary movies, trick-or-treating, and parties. There are a lot of people who think that they get too old for trick-or-treating and think parties are more appropriate for their age. I think you can never be too old for trick-or-treating. I mean, you are saying you are too old for free candy basically. If you don’t want to dress up but still want to go trick-or-treating, there are a bunch of alternatives. You could dress us subtly or simply just tell someone you are dressed up as yourself (these are just suggestions. I’m trying to be funny.)
This year at Blake, the Junior class is hosting the first annual Spooky Cinema. They are going to have a scary movie double feature. From 4-6pm they will be playing Haunted Mansion (2023) and from 6:30 to 8:30pm they will be playing Insidious 2. They are just dying to have you (yes, yes, I’m sorry.) The cinema is going to be held in the media center and the tickets cost $6 for one movie and $10 for both movies. You can buy the tickets on MyPaymentPlus.com or pay with cash at the door. Popcorn is included with your ticket, but if you want candy, pizza, or drinks, you must pay.
Have fun and don’t be too scared. Bring a friend just in case you need to throw your popcorn in the air, scream, and then jump into their lap. Just in case. What are friends for am I right?
