MacGyver originally aired in  September 29th, 1985 .  The show lasted 7 seasons (139 episodes) and was created by Lee David Zlotoff. MacGyver was a huge action packed show in the 80’s and has recently earned a reboot. In October 2015, the original series’ executive producer, Henry Winkler, signed on to produce a reboot series with James Wan and R. Scott Gemmill for CBS. In March 2016 Lucas Till was announced as the new MacGyver.  The plot of the show is Young Angus “Mac” MacGyver, who creates an organization within the U.S. government, relying on his unconventional problem-solving skills to save lives. MacGyver airs September 30th at 8pm EST.
