As the first games of the play-offs pass us by, many are left wondering who will win it all? Well, here are some of our predictions.
The Houston Texans will play the #1 seed Baltimore Ravens. This will for sure be a high scoring technical matchup on top of the exceptional quarter back play shown by both Lamar Jackson and CJ Stroud, the ladder truly coming into his own this season being one of the best quarter backs in the NFL, in only his freshman year. And Lamar Jacksons (qb) Ravens needs no introduction as their #1 seed ranking speaks for itself being at the top of the AFC all season with an explosive offense and punishing defense the Ravens are a fierce opponent in every respect. Though the Texans have been on fire this season we can conclude from all available notion Baltimore slightly edges out Houston and will take the win on Saturday (23-17) Ravens
Next the Green Bay Packers will take on the Brock purdy (qb) led 49’ers after their surprise demolition of the Dallas Cowboys. This promising win coming from Jordan Love and the Packers cements Green Bay as a lethal competitor in the NFC. The 49’ers however have been lighting their division on fire ranking near the top of every category from pass game to run game. Though the Packers have played exceptionally well and operate far above what their record says, I can’t fathom them getting past this powerful 49’ers offense who’s tied for second best in the NFL (33-20) 49’ers
This next match up will surely be fun as our Tampa Bay buccaneers will face off against the newly revived Detroit Lions run by coach Dan Campbell, who has done an amazing job bringing this team from the bottom to the top in just one year. He will be going up against a Bucs team who has outperformed expectations by putting forward a great passing offence thanks to veteran (qb) Baker Mayfield and his killer receiver room led by Mike Evans, another veteran. The Bucs’ biggest weakness here would be their run defense which has been an issue all season and if it’s not corrected the lions will surely capitalize with their two star running backs David Montgomery and Jahmyr Gibbs. The lion’s secondary will also be a tough matchup for the Bucs who I feel have too much stacked up against them to win here (27-17) Lions
The Kansas City Chiefs will play their rival Buffalo bills in a big game on Sunday night. Both teams have strong offenses with outstanding quarterbacks, but the chiefs do lack somewhat in the receiver room of course they have Travis Kelce who is exceptionally good but even he is having a down year. However, the Bills do not have the same issues the chiefs have on offense, but they do slack a bit in the defensive category. Even then I still believe that the Bills are the better team but it’s going to be close (21-23) Bills.
