The Show That Has Everyone Singing

A review on NBC’s hit show Zoey’s Extraordinary Playlist

Zoey’s Extraordinary Playlist (ZEP) is a musical series that contains comedy, romance, and drama. It is about a girl named Zoey (played by Jane Levi), who can hear the soundtrack to everyone’s lives. She can hear people’s inner songs being sung to her. As she goes on to live her life, she must deal with her new “Power “and help the people with the information she hears from each song they sing to her.  Each episode is 40 to 45 minutes long. I suggest watching this show because it is addicting as well as takes you on an emotional rollercoaster as you watch Zoey live her life working through tough decisions. Watching this show brings out so many emotions. One minute you are jamming along to the musical numbers and the next you are balling your eyes out. ZEP is on every Sunday at 9 pm. It is eight episodes in, but don’t worry it is available to stream the next day on the NBC app and HULU, so you can catch up and watch all the binge-worthy episodes. ZEP does contain real-life situations that may not be suitable for kids under 13, along with some minor language. You can catch the next episode on NBC,  April 19 at 8 pm.
