Niall Horan surprised the world with release of his new single ‘This Town’ on September 29th, 2016. If you’ve been following up on the group One Direction, you’d know that after back to back tours the group has received a well deserved break. So fans were shocked when news about the single released. Niall tweeted “Been working in the studio wanted to share this song I just wrote for you guys,” and confirmed the debut of his first solo single. The simple features a vocal-centric aesthetic, acoustic rhythm piano, and acoustic rhythmic guitars. If you understand music then you’d know that’s just fancy talk for a slow meaningful song that will get you in your feelings and probably make you cry. When asked about the meaning behind the song, Niall told Billboard “To me the way I look at it, if you’re from a small town you’ll get this, every time you go back you to your hometown you’ll see this girl in the bar, or wherever, and then everything comes back to you.” Fan Steven Castellana says the song is “great, I listen to it everyday!” He compliments the song saying the best part of it is it’s vibes.
