Starting the Series Strong
On Tuesday, October 21, at Minute Maid Park in Houston, Texas, the first game of the 2019 Major League Baseball World Series will take place between the Washington Nationals and Houston Astros. The Astros are the betting favorites at a -209 line. The Astros finished the regular season with a record of 107- 55 to the Nationals 93- 69. This is the first World Series in the history of the Nationals organization and the second in three years for Houston who ran the table at every level of the American League this year. This first game will an interesting measuring stick for the underdog Nationals and a chance to set a tone for the Astros. You can watch the game at 8:08 ET on FOX.
