When the World Goes Round
The Theater Department will be performing “When the World Goes Round”, a musical performance written by Fred Ebb and John Kander on Thursday, Oct. 24 from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m., Friday, Oct. 25 from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m., and Saturday Oct. 26 from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. The Thursday and Friday shows are already sold out. “When the World Goes Round” is a series of musicals combined into one musical. You can expect to hear songs from shows like “Cabaret”, “Funny Lady”, and “Chicago”, “Zorba” and “Kiss of the Spider Woman.”
It takes songs from multiple musicals to tell a story of life with its glories, indignities, hopes and quiet dreams. Student tickets are $10 and adult tickets are $15. You can buy your tickets online at https://hwbsota.ticketleap.com.
