On March 2, 2020, Drake came out with the song ‘Chicago Freestyle‘ that featured a voice people couldn’t get out of their heads. Soon, people were talking up a storm about the unshakable R&B artist Giveon Evans. 

       The first thing that would attract a viewer to Evan’s voice, is how unique it is. He carries a deep voice but has a significant amount of range. Every note he sings can take a person through a trip of emotions they didn’t know they had. He is the living and breathing confirmation of the statement, ”Music isn’t made to be heard, it’s meant to be felt.” 

      His new album ‘TAKE TIME‘ displays his creativity and drive for music. Every song in the album talks about something meaningful and deep. If he could be compared to other artists it would be like listening to, Ari Lennox, Brent Faiyaz, or Daniel Caesar.  They all share an R&B/Soul sound mixed with a chill beat that listeners could vibe to. 

      As Evan’s name continues to spread he has proved himself to be an artist to have high hopes for.
