Re-Cap of the MCU before Infinity War
What is the hype?
Ever since the announcement of Avengers: Civil War, fans have been dying to see this new entry to the MCU ever since the last Avengers movie. If you missed the news, the new Avengers movies debuts Thanos the Galactic Tyrant, who sets his sights on the Earth for the remaining infinity stones, and it is up to the Avengers ( alongside help of other notable Marvel Characters making a total of 64 main characters in one movie ) to stop this tyrant from collecting all of them and gaining unimaginable power.
What do you need to know?
First, you need to be familiar with the “leaders” of the Avengers: Captain America and Iron Man. Captain America (Steve Rogers) is a World War 2 veteran super soldier, who was frozen for seventy years. Iron Man (Tony Stark) is a philanthropist billionaire who happens to be the one responsible for the momentary split of the Avengers during Captain America: Civil War. Several members of the Avengers include Black Widow; the assassin with a dark past, Scarlet Witch; the orphan with extraordinary abilities, Vision; product of destruction, Bruce Banner; the green machine, Thor; god of thunder. Some allies to the Avengers include Black Panther; king of Wakanda, Spider-Man; friendly neighborhood spider, The Guardians of Galaxy (Peter Quinn, Rocket, Groot, Gamora, and Drax) and last but not least Doctor Strange.
In the previous movies, the Avengers were brought together to stop Loki from conquering the Earth with the help on an Infinity stone, the Space Stone. After defeating Loki, Tony wants to prevent any further invasions by Aliens by creating a conscious machine. Little did he know, Tony Stark created their next big villian Ultron. The world becomes upset at the Avengers and tries to put restraints on them, splitting the group into Team Iron Man or Team Captain America. A villian called Zemo, starts a civil war between the two groups by pinning the blame on the Winter Soldier for killing T’chala’s father. After Zemo is figured out and captured by Black Panther, the Winter Soldier is transported to Wakanda to sort his mind-controlling business out. Presently, the Avengers is divided. Thor and Hulk are in space, meeting and fighting in Thor: Ragnarok. They eventually meet up with the Guardians of the Galaxy. Team Captain America is in the shadows, while Team Iron Man is at the Avenger’s base.
