This week the Student Government at Blake High School decided to host a spirit week full of fun activities for the kids to do. Here was the schedule:
Monday:
- Grease Day (1950s)
Tuesday:
- NBCU Day Wear College Logo and/or Colors
Wednesday:
- Circus Day
Thursday:
- Blake Gear or Class Colors
Friday:
- Hispanic Heritage Day Dress in Traditional Latino Attire or Wear Your Flag
Many students decided to dress up and even at the pep rally kids were showing a lot of spirit especially the juniors who won the spirit stick this week. During 6th period lunch,
many kids came to dance to the Hispanic music because this Friday kicks off Hispanic Heritage Month.
