Wonder Park

A movie review

Wonder+Park

Wonder Park tells the story of a magnificent amusement park where the imagination of a wildly creative girl named June comes alive. With the powerful bond between mother and daughter, Junes dream comes true, but when her inspiration leaves so does Wonder Park. A dark cloud starts to destroy the park and it’s all up to June and her animal friends to save it.

The movie is rated PG due to the fact that stuffed animals attack things with tools as weapons throughout the film.

I thought the movie was super cute. It seemed really short, but it’s a perfect film to keep the kids busy for a while. I saw this film with my little sisters and they loved it.  On another note, the movie was straight to the point and didn’t really go into much detail, which I thought was a flaw in the movie. The film didn’t go much into the characters and the story-line didn’t really go anywhere.

According to Rotten Tomatoes Wonder Park has a 29% rating and is, “Colorful and energetic but lacking a compelling story, Wonder Park is little more than a competently made diversion for very young viewers.”  This movie is definitely geared towards a younger audience and wouldn’t be appealing towards most adults. I wouldn’t recommend seeing this movie in theaters. I would wait to rent it on Redbox to save your money.
